Industrial Ball Valve
Industrial valves are an important accessory to control the flow of media on industrial pipelines and can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, slurry, oil, liquid metal, and radioactive media.
The valve consists of three major parts: valve body, opening and closing mechanism, and valve cover.
The turbine ball valve is an important type of valve, widely used in petrochemical, long-distance pipeline, and other fields. The closing part of a ball valve is a ball (or part of a ball) with a hole, and the ball rotates with the valve stem to open or close the valve. Among various valves, the ball valve has the smallest flow resistance. When the full bore ball valve is opened, the diameter of the ball passage, the valve body passage, and the connecting pipe are equal to one diameter, and the medium can flow almost without loss. The ball valve can be fully closed and opened by rotating 90°, opening and closing quickly. Compared with the same specification of the gate valve and globe valve: the ball valve is small in size, lightweight, and easy to install in the pipeline.

(8) Due to the wiping nature of the ball valve during opening and closing, it can be used in media with suspended solid particles.
The valve consists of an all-welded body and a carbon-reinforced Teflon gasket that can operate for long periods in the presence of frequent operations, impurities, and chemicals. The finely ground stainless steel ball allows for years of free and reliable opening and closing.
The floating ball construction and beveled elastomeric gasket ensure that the seal is tightly pressed against the ball, keeping the valve sealed even under unstable pressure conditions.
The stem leak-proof structure adopts two "O" rings, which makes the stem drive freely and seal tightly.

Features
The valve body is made of a steel plate and assembled and welded to avoid any possible leakage of the medium. Spring type valve seat combination structure, adaptable to pressure and temperature changes, to ensure close contact between the seal ring and the ball. The valve is flexible in opening and closing and easy to operate under the premise of ensuring sealing. The ball and stem are machined by precision machine tools, which reduces the friction coefficient between the contact surfaces and further improves the sealing performance and operating torque of the valve. Various types of valve actuators are available: manual, pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, gas-hydraulic linkage, etc.
The pneumatic ball valve is mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline, but also for fluid regulation and control. Compared with other valves, it has the following advantages.
1、Low fluid resistance. The ball valve is the smallest fluid resistance of all valves. Even for reduced diameter ball valves, the fluid resistance is relatively small.
2, thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve stem, which can make the stem run smoothly and flexibly for a long time.
3、Good sealing performance of valve seat. The sealing ring made of resilient materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene is used to facilitate sealing, and the sealing capacity of the ball valve increases with the increase of medium pressure.
4、Stem sealing is reliable. Because the stem is only for imitation rotary movement, not up and down movement, so the packing seal of the stem is not easy to damage, the sealing capacity increases with the increase of medium pressure.
5. Since materials such as PTFE have good self-lubricating properties, the friction loss with the ball body is small, so the ball valve has a long service life.
6. The bottom-mounted stem and the raised steps on the stem head prevent the stem from being ejected. If the stem seal is damaged by fire, the convex step can also form metal contact with the valve body to ensure the stem seal.
7. Anti-static function: A spring is set between the ball, stem, and valve body, which can export the static electricity generated during the switching process.

This valve is designed with an auxiliary seat emergency sealing system. 6、Self-cleaning structure of sealing surface. When the ball is tilted away from the seat, the fluid in the pipeline will pass evenly along the ball sealing surface 360 °. It not only eliminates the local scouring of the valve seat by the high-speed fluid but also flushes out the accumulation on the sealing surface to achieve the purpose of self-cleaning.
